Creating Biographies

We would like to research the biographies of those who are buried in our church and churchyard and would like to enlist your help again!

Please feel free to select a memorial and find out what you can about the people named there using any resource you feel appropriate - The Keep, the internet, newspapers, pictures, oral histories etc.

All we ask is that you make note of the reference source you have used so the reference can be found at a later time.

The information we would like recorded is:

Book - title, author, publisher, date of publication

Website - website name, website address, date accessed

Newspaper Article - author, article title, publication, date.

Oral History - interviewee name, interviewer name, date of interview.

Primary Sources - description of source, date of source, repository reference number, repository name.

For any other source, note as much detail as you can about it.

The list of memorials also includes a column noting whether the person has been researched, or research is in progress to hopefully avoid too much duplication.

Please send any information you find or any questions you have to me@lisaward.me.uk.

Thank you!
